This means that the glass meets the original specifications for safety and quality as the glass that it came with from the factory. You should always use OEM glass to insure your safety. Generally, all reputable shops such as IGPA members stand behind their work. If you have a problem after their installation, they will do their best to satisfy you. Don't be shy about asking for a warranty. Your safety and comfort are worth it.Do I have to go where my insurance company tells me?

Some insurance companies imply that you will get an unsatisfactory job from any shop other than the one they want you to go to. Before you go where your insurance company wants you to go, ask whether that shops uses OEM windshields, (urethane sealant), and provides a warranty. If they don't, tell your insurance company you are not going to a shop that gambles with your safety.
